![]() Also, Death is known for being the Necromancer of the group. Even the mage-y armors had an armored look to them. However the majority of armor you did find for him had the same motifs and all of them varying in degrees of "armored". This fact alone gives credence to her need for at least some form of armor, as her typical fighting style is close quarters.Īs for Death's default armor, it still had the same symbols (Skulls and etc) as War's and now Fury's, only it was mainly seen on his leggings and boots since he was shirtless at the start. What we DO know, according to the wiki, is that she's a blade mage and her weapon can transform to suit her needs. Gameplay so far shows her whipping things to death, but we don't know what all of Fury's abilities will be in the game yet. One thing to keep in mind though, is that these changes may have something to do with her way of fighting. You'll have to take it up with him on that point. Could the artist have made her wear more cloth than metal? Sure. I guess you can argue they're armored heels, but.they're still heels.Įither way, whether you disagree with the change or not is your opinion, and that's fine. Her arms and face are mostly exposed, thus not a full suit of armor. Fury's armor is basically a form-fitting chestplate, gauntlets, greaves, and a decorative loincloth. Even War, who's the most armored of them all, doesn't have a full suit of armor since he doesn't wear a helmet. Her outfit is nowhere near "full suit" tier. It was only meant to have her appearance be in sync with the other Horsemen. Well for one, the redesign wasn't meant to "cover her up". Even with a redesign, they could have made Fury retain that magely feel while covering her up - say taking her old design, but making it a little less revealing, instead of giving her a full suit of armor. In Darksiders 2, Death started out with some very basic costume that was absolutely bereft of armor, and depending on how you built him, he would either wear elaborate sorcerer robes or armor fitting of a death knight. ![]() The problem is, the Horsemen's armors aren't the same. There may also be optional armor sets that may sway into the Mage territory more, but that's pure speculation on my part. We may actually see the more "mage" look when she goes into her Chaos form, which is something they've yet to show. At the very least, her armor is nowhere near as bulky and heavy looking as War's, so there is that. Really I believe the artist had to choose between A: focusing on her "mage" like capabilities or B: Focusing on the fact that she's one of the horsemen, thus has a similar armor type. I can understand that and partially agree. Of course, so far, Fury being a mage feels more like an informed trait than a defining characteristic, so. This is not because they are "sexy" - I don't care about that - but rather that that design was better suited for her as a supposed "mage" character. Originally posted by Handsome Ebony Maw:I don't care for "sexy", I wanted Fury's original concept design armor and whip in this game. Yeah it seems alot of people either don't know Joe himself did the redesign, or are hell bent on believing what they want to believe. Yeah, like I said, seeing all the other stuff about her (body proportions, high heels, sexy whip dance) any SJW theory pretty much flies out the window. Oh, I actually never knew that this is the reasoning behind changing her outfit. And would probably destroy everyone in this thread. Even the armor on the sides of her thighs help with accentuating them by making them look even thicker than they actually are. Her breastplate accentuates said breasts and her loincloth is thin enough width-wise to also accentuate her thighs and butt. People who feel armor completely nullifies someone's sex appeal make me laugh. She has an hourglass shape, is quite buxom, and thick thighs. He also worked with the devs on her body proportions, which I can safely say are nowhere NEAR "SJW" levels. "SJW" nonsense had nothing to do with it. He felt that Fury's original design didn't really fit with the other horsemen, thus he made her outfit look similar to War's in that it's a bit more armored and has the same skulls and designs etched into it. Joe Madureira, the artist who did Fury's original concept designs, also did the remade design for the game. While I wouldn't call Fury ugly, in fact I find she's quite attractive, taking away her original outfit from the comics and giving her a full suit of armor is a warning sign to me. I think the person that made Revolution 60 must have been hired to make this. ![]() And this game is definately ugly, look at those graphics, ugh. SJWs run THQ Nordic now and there's two goals they have, female supremicy and they want to make it so ugly is the norm, because that's what they are, ugly.
